Asahi Industries Group made investments totaling 5,524 million yen in the steel business, agribusiness and other business to maintain and replace production facilities and improve the environment.
In the steel business, 5,147 million yen was mainly injected into the construction of a building for a reheating furnace, facility improvements to reduce enviromental burdens and the maintenance of production facilities.
In the agribusiness, 251million yen was mainly injected into the construction of an administration building in the Chiba plant and the maintenance of production facilities.
We also invested 37 million yen in the administrative sector such as upgrades to the existing computer systems and the purchase of new computers.
In the environmental service business, 69 million yen was mainly injected into the installation of new analytical equipments of EAC Corporation.
Furthermore, Jobu Industries invested 19 million yen in the maintenance of the processing facilities.
Asahi Industries Group posted a 227 million yen loss on disposal of fixed assets in relation to the capital investment.
