Focusing on contribution and gratitude to society

The Asahi Industries Group is committed to disaster relief activities to help the citizens of Tohoku in the aftermath of the earthquake.

[Main Activities]

  • Donations through Japanese Red Cross Society
  • Donations of food aid including rice and beverages
  • Purchases of products and specialties made in afflicted areas

The Group is going to set up an office in Sendai to help afflicted farmers and people concerned with agriculture. Our experts on agriculture and environmental analyses will provide services including soil analyses and radioactivity measurements. Our aim is to contribute to rebuilding of the agricultural industry in Tohoku.

Support for the World Food Programme (WFP)

The WFP is the food aid branch of the United Nations, and its mission is to eliminate hunger and malnutrition. The Japan Association for WFP(JAWFP) is a Japan-based, nonprofit organization that focuses on building support for the WFP. Since 2009, Asahi Industries co., ltd. has supported the WFP's mission as a JAWFP Council Member.

Eco cap campaign

The Asahi Industries Group has been involved in the eco cap campaign since August, 2009. Used plastic bottle caps collected in the group companies are send to a NPO. The NPO sells the caps to recyclers and donates profits from the sales to fund vaccine procurement for children in developing countries.

Support to the disabled community

Asahi Industries has helped people with disabilities in a group home live independently by outsourcing packing work to them.

We have provided people in the vicinity of our Saitama office with an opportunity to communicate with us.
  • Paintings by school children in the vicinity have been exhibited on the walls surrounding the Saitama office of Asahi Industries.
  • Paintings start to be made in January to be exhibited in March every year.
  • You can enjoy 131 paintings including new 30 paintings added on March 26, 2011. Since 2007, 634 people, children and their family members as helps , have been involved in painting.

Asahi Flower Garden

Asahi Industries, as a community-based company, plays an active role in making the towns more pleasant with flowers and greenery.
We made a flower garden in front of the Asahi Industries' Saitama Office.
Everyone can enjoy flowers of each season in a peaceful atmosphere.

Award for safety and health activities from Chiba Federation of Labour Standards Associations

In October, 2010, the Chiba Plant received the award for safety and health activities into which every effort has been putting since the Chiba Plant began operation. We will continue to work hard to earn trust from communities.

Community clean-up campaigns

Asahi Industries carry out regular clean-up programs and positively take part in clean-up activities in each community.
